The traditional tapas restaurants chain from the South of Spain, Bodega La Andaluza, has opened a new restaurant in Gibraltar, specifically in the centre of Algeciras. This restaurant is the first inauguration of this franchise in the province of Cadiz and the fifth one in Spain during the course of this year. Along with this opening will take place, in less than one month, another one in Oviedo.
The Official Inauguration of this new restaurant in Algeciras located in Plaza de Andalucía Shopping Centre, will take place next Friday 13th of July. As it is common in this kind of Franchise events, the presentation of the new restaurant will be followed by an authentic andalusian party and good selection of the traditional tapas and the best wines of this Region.
The objective of this inauguration act is to introduce the new restaurant to the local society, offering as well to the assistants a free tasting of the andalusian cuisine and its wines as well as the best Flamenco live music. The Flamenco show will have a wide range of flamenco styles: bulerías, alegrías, tangos…which will add to the night, art and entertainment in its most authentic southern style.
Successful concept
The new franchise opening confirms the excellent reception of this system in the food and service sector. In the course of this year, four Bodegas have been opened between Madrid and Alicante because of the crescent interest in this type of gastronomic offer. Also, beyond our country boarders, on the other side of the Atlantic, Bodega La Andaluza is ready to expand its franchise. It will start in Colombia, where a central kitchen will be established shortly, and from there, it will continue its expansion to others countries from South America, which have already expressed their interest for this type of traditional food from Andalucía that this franchise offers.
Since the fist moment Bodega La Andaluza opened its doors, customers from the whole Spain have shown a great predilection for this type of cuisine, based on first quality ingredients and traditional recipes from the andalusian gastronomic culture as well as the best selection of wines from the most recognised designations of origin in the country.
In addition to this, it is also remarkable the premises warm atmosphere, thanks to their neat decoration, typical from the old wine cellars from the nineteenth century.
This business concept arose in Seville two decades ago and, since it started its national expansion in 2003, several restaurants have been opened in different provinces of Spain, such as Alicante, Valencia, Tarragona, Orense, Almería, Huelva and Madrid. The growth that this Spanish restaurant and tapas bar chain is presenting currently, is based on a good image of its brand and its high quality products, which make it different from the rest of its market competitors.
