Apple pie

1 kg reineta apple (reserve one for decoration), 3 eggs, 3 spoons flour, 2 spoons sugar, 100 gr. Butter, apricot or peach marmalade.


Preheat the oven to 220 ºC. Grease an ovenproof container with butter and sprinkle with flour. Introduce puff pastry, prick and cover with aluminium foil. Bake at 180 ºC for 10 minutes until the pastry is slightly done. Meanwhile peel the apples and cut them into slices. When the pastry is done, place the apple slices on top and sprinkle with sugar until slices are covered, add a little cinnamon and 3 spoons butter on top. Heat in oven until pastry and apples are done, about 15-20 minutes at 180 ºC. Cover with the marmalade and cool. This pie can be eaten with vanilla ice-cream or a bit of whipped cream.
